Default Yikes

Everyone knows there are no cougars in central Wisconsin right? Just ask the DNR.

HOWEVER, this picture was taken of a very large cougar a week ago, right by my deer stand!

We have wolf licenses in Wisconsin. Now we need cougar licenses.

If da guvment sez it then its GOTTA be true! You obviously have a doctored photo (or your stand is in the Bitterroots)

That's nothing....there have been sightings in CT for a couple years and our DNR denied it. They had to change their tune when a car hit one last year and recovered the dead animal.

If you notice this article it is the same picture I put up but says Michigan. It also says it was photographed in southern Marquette county which is where I hunt. Only it's Wisconsin. I think someone "borrowe" Mark's picture and claimed it was Michigan.

Buddy saw a small one in Portage County last week onhis way to work. Ran across the road in front of his truck.

Funny you post this, I checked my camera last week at my urban hunting spot outside of Chicago and I have a picture that is VERY interesting. Its not conclusive, but IMO there is a one running around my hunting area right outside Chicago. Once I get my Hard drive fixed I'll post a picture.

Call the ILDNR and ask them about mountain lions. They are likely to state there have been no confirmed sightings in IL for several decades. I guess they forgot about the mountain lion shot by LE in Roscoe Village a few years ago.
