Age of this Buck
 

Recently I found that I have a decent sized buck on the property I hunt... I guessed his age to be roughly 3 years old... For those of you with more experience what would you say his age to be?

I doubt he's any older than that and if you're in a good agricultural area he may only be 2 1/2.

21/2 or 31/2. He is pretty wide and good for age

He may only be 2.5 and if so he is a brute for sure

Would any of you guys shoot him this fall or let him go for another year???

I will say 2.5 this fall, his antlers will look a lot different when the velvet comes off. As for as shooting him that is up to you. He is a nice buck.

definatley young if he is there every year and you hunt somewhere big enouch where he wount travel to another hunter wait a few years he will be a dandy

Looks like a healthy 2.5 year old.
