I clean my gun but its an old gun and i dont want to change anything about it my question is can i shoot a 12 gauge slug out of it

Test fire a few different brands of slugs, some will shoot better than others in your gun. A low power scope will help a lot.

im about tired of beating around the bush all i want is a straight answer can a REMMINGTON MODEL 1100 SHOOT A SLUG WITHOUT MESSING ANYTHING UP

Your 1100 will shoot any Foster-type slugs without a problem.

THANK YOU!!!!!! now this is a smooth bore barrel will that be a factor if it can shoot slugs?

Foster-type, or "rifled" slugs are designed to be fired through a smooth bore shotgun. They won't be as accurate as saboted slugs fired through a rifled barrel.

YES and now you can go hide behind your bush after everyone here has done more than enough to help you with your question. If you haven't had the barrel off your 1100, take the friggin thing off and clean the SOB thoroughly or you'll be back on here one of these days asking another question as to why it isn't functioning properly and that's no chit or beating around the bush, LOL!
