Default Any Out Of State Hunting Trips Planned?

Anyone planning an out of state hunt this year?

I'm heading out to Illinois this November (bow/shotgun), will be my first time out there since 2009, heading out this July to hang stands on the farms

If I can save up the $$$ for gas money, I will be heading back up to upstate New York to my sister & brother-in-law's farm. It's beautiful up there, quiet and peaceful, and being a private 125 farm, it is loaded with deer, turkeys, resident geese, and other critters.

If my health holds up, I plan to Manitoba, AL, and maybe ND. I don't travel as I use to. Just don't have the desire. If I go on these hunts, it will be to koin froends.

Cashing in 4 points to bowhunt Iowa this year. First visit in 10 years for me. I wanted better public to hunt so I already spent 4 full days scouting about a dozen properties there back in February. Locked and loaded for 4 smokin hot parcels. Cleared lanes and GPSed ~ 40 trees depending on winds. All trees suitable for my Lone Wolf climber.

Needed a break from the grossly overhunted public land here in Illinois. My god the nonresidents outnumbered residents by 4 to 1 my last 2 years here. Huge incease in trailcams all over too. I pretty much felt someone had set foot in every place I hunted...........because they had. Scratched up trees everywhere. Bucks were still there, just totally nocturnal. Stared into empty timber all day. I will go hunt there the last week of October when it's less polluted but by Nov 3rd I will be long gone for Iowa.

Still waiting on western big game draws too. I should get something out there.
