Cool a giant has been found!!!!

just got back from peabody wma doing some deer scouting..guess what?...i came up on a green field and standing there was one hell of a big buck..a big velvet clad monster...he took off like a bat out of hell but i got a good look, at least in my estimation a deer that will score in the 160"s for sure even though it is early in the year..he is big!!!..sorry folks but i cant release the name of the unit where i saw him..next thing i know come opening morning there would trucks all over that unit..BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY..LOL..

Are you saying he is a 160" deer now or will be? cause if you saw he is a 160" now, there is just noway he can be

let me clarify....im saying that by sept..he will probably be at least 160..

IMO I don't think you can tell a deer is going to be "at least 160" this early in the year. Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see that...

I agree with you, unless you know the deer from previous years its tough to tell. You can't tell width or tine length at this point of even mass. You might be able to tell its going to be a good deer but score this early is very tough to tell.

Not trying to be a pill, but a 160" buck is just a very good deer, not a giant of a deer. A true giant, regardless of his score, will literally dwarf a 160" class buck. I've enclosed pictures of a GIANT deer...
