i pretty much know how to field dress the deer. there is one area i am not sure about. this is towards the back of the deer. should you cut all the way down in between the hams to the bone. so you can remove the reproductive parts of the deer?

We always cut between the hams to the bone and including the bone. This helps in removing all internal parts. Buy cutting the bone it will make it allot easier over all in finishing the job.

In the field I just take out the guts.When I get it home I then split it down all the way. You got to be careful not to bust the bladder and get the meat urinated on.
