Just got this mount back. Harvested in primitive firearms season more than a year ago. Back teeth determined the age to be at least 8.5 years. We have an identical rack from five years previous. This fellow ran the mountain for quite a few years. And believe it or not he was tender and delicious. |

Great buck! The oldest buck I have ever killed was 4.5 years old and the oldest doe was 8 years old. We had the jaw bones sent in to age them.
