Flashlight

Looking for a good flashlight. I like the rechargeable Streamlight strions, a buddy has one. Just curious, before I spend $100 on a flashlight, if anyone has some other comparable recommendations?

I use a Streamlight Stinger DS at work and its a great flashlight. Super bright, durable and has a lifetime warranty.

Not to mention its been thrown against a wall a time or two and its still working great. I think mine was $179 with charger and two batteries though...

Old school
but I've yet to find a need for anything other than my AA MagLite.

Just to give you fello's a headsup or My personal opinion I guess too. These type of lights are great but when it comes to hunting there is con's to them too. Last fall while bear and deer hunting I could not use these major bright lights as they would not pick up blood when tracking. They seemed so bright that everything stood out and made it very hard. I would have to use a smaller (yellow) light should I say :confused2:

I also had a moment where in woods that I knew well, that I was disoriented because the light was so bright. I am not knocking them because they also have their good points too, as if you want to see a distance or you are looking for objects in thick woods.

I also came across a much cheaper light with (Near) the same quality and brightness thast was far less in price. Not sure if you fello's have the same items in Costco but they have a 3 pack of black LED lights that are called Tactical and they are only $18.99 a pack here. I can not believe how well they work and from what I see they are every bit as good as the High price Streamlight that are good also....
