...but you have to remember to be quiet but if you do you might see a deer but you have to be sure to hold your rifle steady but then you might kill that deer but you' ll have to gut and skin it but my mom said she likes venison so it' s ok but it' s still a lot of work.

I have always felt that deer will detect a bow hunter before he can get in range. I have killed 2 that way one afternoon. I was only able to do this because I was making my approach on mowed grass, had the wind in my face, had a big berm hiding me almost the entire way in and then was able to slink in behind a building and arrow two young bucks a number of years ago. I was hunting on APG--a military installation.
In most other cases, it sucks.

I stalk deer a lot. It is the ultimate challenge for me. But it is also tough. Biggest thing I have to remember is to have lots of patience and go slow, but at times fast.
