Has anyone ever used those Smokin Sticks, i think they' re made by Tinks, or the Deer Sense sticks? How did they work? Thanks

i used them but they kept going out.smelled great while they worked. useless in bad weather

I used the Tinks doe in heat during the rut worked great.They sell a smoker that makes it last longer,I made mine with a can with holes in it.

I tried them several years ago and did not like them. Seemed like they were always blowing in my face and I wound up smelling like them for days.

I tried the Deer Quest one year - shot a 9py off of it. Not sure why I haven' t used them since.

Last year I shot a buck after mine had burned to the ground. He came in and put his nose right in the cleared area where the stick had been. I was using the Tinks type. I made a can for the sticks but it got so covered with scent after using it one time that I didn' t want to mess with it. I just stick them in a cleared circle and let them burn as long as they can.
