Great buck!! I would guess 140 but either way that's a great buck in anyones book. Let us know what he scores.

My estimate is 147 using my offhand visual field scoring method - but I sort of stink at this kind of stuff. Thats a beast for sure.

You should DEFINITELY enter this guy in the state contest next year. Wow. You should also post this over at the Virginia Sportsmen Forum. Folks over there will love it.

Congrats and nice shot! That is a great deer. Was he chasing the does? Seems way too late for that to be the case, but I have heard of does entering heat even up to a 3rd time.

i dont believe he was chasing does....but i personaly think something spooked him to me...what it was, idk..there was know one hunting anywhere near me that day..so i really cant tell ya but his gland on his back legs, when i went to hang him up, they were still wet as can be and stunk somethin terrible

That is a great deer!! You don't get many opportunities to take one as good as that. My wife is from Bedford, her family lives on a farm just off 460 a few miles toward Roanoke with a great view of "The Peaks". Congrats.
