Default late season

I'm going to give late season archery a try this week. I have been researching some and understand that the food is where to hunt. I'll be hunting in Indiana, corn and bean fields and woods. All the crops are harvested now. I remember years ago not seeing many deer this time of year. It seems the food would be the harvested fields, there's corn and beans always coming out the rear end of the combines and left on the ground. What other food sources are available this time of year in this area. Again, it's all woods and harvested fields.

any help appreciated.

It's a tough call most combines that are working today and very efficient. And the birds pick up a lot of the left over seed.

The best thing to do is to pay the farmer to leave a few rows up for the winter. But that aint cheap.
