Rangefinder
What is a good rangefinder that is around $250 or less.
Do any of you have one that you would want to sell? Thanks |
Leupold rx-600. Nothing fancy. Compact, lightweight, accurate, leupold warrantee, quality product. Meets the needs of probably 90 percent of hunters. I don't need to range anything past 600. I got a reading of around 575 yards on some large pine trees so that tells me it does have the ability to go to 600 on something more reflective.

Nikon Archers Choice i got a few years ago is great. About $275 i paid for it. but it is a strictly bowhunting tool. wouldnt work well for long range rifle hunts

In my view there are only 2 brands I will look at, Nikon and Leica.
Look around, I have a nikon and a leupold, my nikon is an early model, works great, better than some new models from what I gather hearing about others... great long range relfection etc... my leupold is kinda bowhunting model/type, I'd like to get a nikon soon for bowhunting, and maybe a newer/smaller long range one for the open country, but mine works pretty great already... Nikon is the best/most reasonable IMO. |
