Congrats on the buck. Thats one hell of a story to go with it. We used to get some decent snows down here in Va. back in the seventies and I used to love tracking deer in it. Now it very rarely snows during the deer season so tracking is not an option for us.

Nice story and great buck. I grew up hunting off HWY 51 in vilas and killed some nice bucks on public land. Was gonna try and make it up there this year but my uncle told me it's not worth the drive and money. The deer have all but disappeared in the area I grew up hunting.

Congrats again. Nothing like working hard and getting him in the end.

I have a scope and iron sites. I only use the scope on standing deer. I'm faster with iron sites on the moving ones.
