Default Pennsylvania Rifle Season- How's it going?

Went out today on Pennsylvania's first day of rifle season, didn't score but heard a decent amount of shooting going on. This year in my area, the 1st week was only for bucks, which I like. How did anyone else do.

It was 67 deg today. I caught up with an 8-point at noon today, he was chasing some doe and rutting hard. Which surprised me considering the warm weather.

Wow thats a dandy buck, congrats. Yeah I've been hearing on several occasions about bucks rutting. I was rewarded for sitting till my buck showed up at 1 o'clock with 2 does. A smaller racked 7-point, but some much needed meat on table. I'll be out today to try and fill a doe tag before the rain.

I have never seen deer move above 50-60 degrees. I even cancelled my weekend due to the warm forecast.

Very nice looking buck. Surprised the bucks were still rutting. Hope the weekend is more favorable hunting conditions than Monday, never liked hunting in the warm weather.

Barely any shooting in my area the first two days. Warm the first day, warm and rainy the second. I saw one little buck. But nothing legal.

Can't get away from home till the weekend. I went out a couple hours, saw a good amount of doe and heard a lot of shots. Still seeing doe, but out of shotgun range.

Hopefully the cooler temps will get the deer moving. Not going to be able to get out until Saturday.
