Remington Buckhammer slugs?

Does this metal part of this slug contact the rifling in a rifled barrel? any trouble with fouling?

no fouling at all myself and 5 guys i hunt with here in ohio use them they are ignorant accurate and when u hit a deer with them its like they've been hit with a wrecking ball.
