I keep seeing deer to my left where there is about a 5-8 acre thicket. They bed there and they travel pretty close to that thicket. 2 Questions how close should I be to that thickett? I am about 100-125 yards from it now. Another thing I want to hang a stand over there, but I am concerned of them leaving the area I am a scent control freak I was thinking of hanging it Friday at around 1pm or so would that not be to much?? Thanks

Just make sure you aren't upwind of it and walk in as quite as possible.

I just purchased 4 32" sections of the gorilla climbing rails. Hopefully I can get up about 20 feet

shoot you can hang a stand five yrds from the thicket if you want to... as long as you can get in there quiet and have the wind being favorable... thats not always a possiblilty however. dont bust a good spot though. if youre seein deer one will come by eventually and if your just itchin to move go ahead and move over that way a lil ways at a time...
