corn and molasses
 
tried the corn and molasses mix last year and worked quite well gonna try to mix my own this year any one have any recomendations on what else to mix if anything or propertions to mix it?

I see no need in mixing anything with corn. They like it just fine the way it is. I really don't want them eating it any faster than they do already.

been feeding deer corn for 20yrs now, never had 1 complain. with the price of corn now, I would hate to think I needed to sweeten it for them.

I do have mineral sites around that do not get hunted, different story, they get the good stuff.

not to mention attracting bears. They can smell the molasses from way off.

A feed mill around here has this corn with cherry syrup mix. I wanna say it was like 8-10 dollars for a 10 gallon bag of it.

If you mix it with either soybean or oats it will add a lot of protein and make them feel "filled up" so they don't eat as much and come back to it more often.
