the blur 10-23-2011 07:38 PM

I'd tag him, and eat him. lead or chrome, no difference.

Be a good time to get the c/v boot fixed :)

man, that blows...I feel your pain though. Three days before early bow started I had a 110 lb doe commit suicide totaling my truck leaving me to drive the four wheeler 10 minutes to where i hunt hah. (Still riding it by the way...it's a shame the insurance companies take so long..)

Glad to see that this deer glanced off the side and not through the windshield! Too bad the deer is pulverized so badly - road kills, if hit on the head/front and not hit mid-section, are plenty good for the table if you can get them right after being hit.

Ouch! They really make a mess and do some serious damage don't they. Glad your OK and that it went Down Under and not over the hood into the cab.

westtexducks 10-25-2011 12:26 PM

Its a good thing you werent on a motorcycle. A good friend of mines buddy from high school was riding on a harley with his wife when they hit an axis deer. It killed his wife and left him severely injured. It is sad what a deer hit at high speeds will do to a person or car.

WIbuckchaser 10-25-2011 04:03 PM

That's unfortunate for you and the deer. I hate seeing that but what do you do?
