Brush With !
 

I was up at my uncles hunting cabin last week and my cousin and I were trying to get the walkie-talkies to work. This are is relatively untouched by humans so the wildlife is pretty bold. Well, we were too close for the walkie-talkies to work so I ran and jumped across the crick so we could talk. I heard a noise and looked down and there was a rattler staring up at me! I have never come so close to crapping my pants in my life! Needless to say, I jumped away from that thing as fast as I could. Just thought I' d share that story with you.

Gives new meaning to the HEEBY JEEBIES.[:o] I got nailed in the calf two years ago by a 5 footer. Luckily the fangs just penetrated the rubber boots and jeans and scratched the skin. I ran backwards for 30 yards through the swamp. Dont remember whether it was through or over the palmettos.[:o][:o][X(]

Some years ago in AL. We were at our land building stands, well during the day one of the memebers shot a 5ft rattler!

It was put into the back of the pick up and forgotten. Well, later that day while heading back to the camp I was standing in the back of the truck holding on to the top of the cabin when! This dang snake started rapping itself around me and accually hit my boot![:o]

Apparently it wasnt dead or they can still manage to strick or coil while dead, dieing or what ever.

Man! needless to say it was dead for sure after this.
