Have you ever had one of those days....
 

When you are walking back to your vehicle after a hunt, and there's a deer standing next to it.

And you think to yourself..... if I had only sat in my car, I would have seen more deer than I did.

All the time!

Yup, last year gun opener I hunted ALL day only saw one doe with no shot at her. got all the way back home and saw a massive buck right across the road from my house.

Several years ago.
I was out hunting in MN, we didn't have any doe permits in our group. I hadn't seen a deer all morning.
Walking back to the truck for lunch, and standing just a short ways away from the truck are three does, all looking at me.
They then just walked away, while I was completely disgusted.

Spend all day in stand seen no deer, go to camp, game warden there (member of camp) Says can he use my garage as stand a ten point beside it eating pears
