Lightbulb 90 Cent Attractent

I'm sure this is not a new idea for a cheap attractent for deer but I thought I would share it anyway. For 90 cents or less buy a can of frozen apple juice, punch a few holes in the bottom and place in a dark sock. Push a zip tie through it and hang it about as high as a tall deer can reach. Being frozen it will release the scent of apple for quite some time. I'm timing it to see how long it takes to lose it's contents. If baiting is not allowed in your state then I don't think it is legal for the deer to be able to lick the juice but if put where they can't get to it the smell would attract them just as well I would think. What do you think?

Brand new, washed and scent free, except for the apple concentrate. If I used one of my dirty ones UncleNorby the deer would pass out from the fumes.LOL

I wouldnt think so, you're not physically putting a food source on or in the ground.
I would think its no different than a scrape scent dripper except ur using juice verses urine !!
good ides im gonna try it

Great idea but what about using orange juice instead of apply juice?

My deer down here would probably freak out if they smelled an apple.

Oh wait a minute frozen? Nope it wont work it was 85 today.

Good idea tough let me put some thought into it. Maybe molasses yes molasses will do the trick.

I've tried it a couple of times so far but have not had deer close enough to be drawn to it. I'm going to keep giving it a try until they either ignor it or get nose to sock with it.
