This story reminds me of a Kentucky teenager who harvested a nice one a couple of years ago her name is Michaella Monroe and her Buck was 219 5/8. I say more power to the gals and young ones that will fill our boots when we are done and they fill in the ranks. My hat goes off to the parents of these future hunters for teaching them the skills they need to harvest these great deer and being truly happen for them when they do it. Thanks for sharing the pic and story with us.

Never really thought about that 3tail, but I'm afraid you are 100% right about that. I've got some local guys in my area that get upset if someone is lucky enough to harvest a deer of a lifetime and it was on their hitlist. Can't be happy for someone else... just have to upset it wasn't them. Nice buck!

I think she started off on the wrong foot. Granted, I wish I had started off on that wrong foot too.

A nice buck is a nice buck. It's hard not to appreciate a good kill.

she didn't start off on this foot. It said her first was a forkhorn. She ain't a newbie and like my 2 daughters would say...."you only wish you could hunt like a girl!"

Well done. Awesome story.
