wind sucks
 

I try to hunt with the wind in mind. Unfortunately it never fails that the last hour or so of light the wind swirls all over the place. Is it common for the southeast or am I just cursed. Any tips or hints would be awesome

Actually since it is described in relation to where it is coming from, wind blows. :wink:

yeah it happens all the time... i think it has a lot to do with thermals... and the fact that there are so many ridges and foothills of the appalachians in the southeast. Even the slightest change in wind direction can completely change the way its coming around one of these hills and screw up every thing else
