Luminol for tracking?

Hey guys with archery season right around the corner I was wondering if anyone has used luminol or similar products to assist in the recovery of deer? I have seen several products online and am interested in trying it out. I know nothing replaces good tracking but for those times when the trail sometimes goes dry it doesn't hurt to have another tool in the toolbox.

I just got a bloodtracker light. I'm gonna try that out first! I have always just tracked the regular way.

Unless you had a 55 gallon drum of the stuff with a sprayer it wouldn't be much good. A squirt bottle wouldn't cover enough ground if you didn't know where the deer went.
