Broken beam? or grew that way?

Let me know what you guys think...do you think this beam was broken in velvet and then healed? or do you think this growth is genetic. should i shoot him to get the genetics out of the herd? or let him go to see when the antler does next year?

Hmm that's strange looking... I'd say it's probably genetic... Cull him out.
It looks like his left rear leg, or hip might have got hurt causing the deformed right side antler.

I had pictures of a deer kind alike that last year, I think mine got hit by a car and that is wat caused the groth defects on the one side. This may be the same situation...

ole freak nasty. would make a cool mount i say it is from an accident
Take him out.
Yeah I say take him, You really do not want that stirring about during breeding season.
I agree with some of the previous posts. Whack him! Definetly would be a cool mount if you chose to do so....
I'd shoot him just because he looks cool! Would make a great looking mount.

cant really tell, but if he was there last year and it wasn't all crazy, i am saying let him go and he will be nice next year, the one side goes out pretty wide and would be huge if the other side wasnt messed up. just my 2 cents, plus you will be able to tell next year for sure. if you call that bad genetics, have you not seen any huge nontypicals with funky racks that you would have wanted on your wall, cause i would, give him a year or 2 for sure.
