I'm so jealous of you guys in Michigan, I go up there frequently... My girlfriend's parents own a cabin in the UP.. I vow that I'm headed up there to hunt one day lol.

family has sent us videos of whole batchelor herds in the park during the daytime! Some bruisers too!

Here's a few from our place. Most of our land is 20 year old overgrown clear cuts. Very thick.

A couple more. I plant food plots where there are openings. Plus, my old man and I have been planting oak tree all over the property since 1994. We have about 400 white and red oaks planted now - all from acorns. This one had it's first acorn crop last year. 16 years......gotta have patience.

And we have a couple fields. For the longest time, they were just hay and weeds. A bunch of us got together and pooled our resources. We bought a used disc plow and started planting them a few years ago. One is clover and the other was turnips. Beets this year.
