I hand load for a rifle in 234 Win. I have found, as many others have already mentioned, that any good quality hunting bullet (not a varmint type bullet) does fine. My favorites are the Nosler Partition and Sierra Game King.

85gr Barnes TSX Works well in my .243 for Fallow deer and 85gr HPBT Sierra for fox.

It's the arrow, not the indian!

85grn TSX Barnes Fed Prem and the deer just MELT! Full length penetration as well. No worry with blowing up on heavy bone or anything else, just put it where it needs to go to assure you get the vitals and then get your skinnin knife ready.

My 10 and 15 year old sons were MELTIN em lastyear with that round out of their 243s. My 10 year old killed 5 including 3 bucks and he'd never fired a deer rifle before last October. I've been shooting Barnes for over a decade and swear by them.
