I have been making mock scrapes since July 4th. My first trail camera pic of a nice buck came on July 20. I have had several bucks come in since then at different locations. I use the preorbital scent on the licking branch and the interdigital scent in the scrape. I also squirt a little dominant buck scent in the scrape. I get my preorbital and interdigital online from Paul Pollick's whitetail deer lures. The buck scent I just pick up anywhere. When the hunting season rolls around I too have had success with James Valley scents mostly on drag lines. I have posted a bunch of trail cam pics lately on the trail cam forum. Check them out to see the proof that the scent works now. I posted a cool day time pic of a white buck today.

I gotta say I use my own blend too. I made a mock scrape in the corner of my yard and they hit it the first night. I freshen often and it works great for me in MO.
