when i go up into my climbing tree stand what would be the best way 2 get my bow up

I suppose you could come up with some innovative methods (helium balloon perhaps?) but I think a 25 foot piece of parachute cord tied to the bow and stand is hard to beat.

yeah tats wat my dad said he but i was planning on buying a backpack i could put it in and use tat and he said no and told me 2 go read some forums

Been doing it for nearly 20 years
 

Used thin strong rope provided by a sporting goods store and tied to a small plastic wrap holder. Great little package for pack or pocket.
Tie bow or rifle on ground; proceed up tree with stand; then pull up secured bow or rifle after reaching top location.
For the knot I use an old fishing knot. I wrap the rope around the rifle or bow, twice, and tie an improved clinch knot. ( Sites on internet showing how to tie knot)

It always held the bow or rifle. And the knot has held five pound trout on four pound test line.

I always use para cord. i keep several with me in my pocket ,backpack ,jacket.
that way i always have one ready to go incase some how i forget it in the truck or loose it
