Cost will vary from area to area. You get what you pay for. $350 is a cheap mount around here. I think the better guys charge $450 to $500. I am sure he gets the frequent customer discount. Also you have to figure 20 years ago it did not cost that much. Cost just goes up each year. Only one I have worth mounting I did not because I was a poor college student. I think I need to get me a cape and get that puppy on my wall.

Or you can go high end with a place like Rapalee Taxidermy (Va) which charges close to 750 for a whitetail mount. They are world class though.
