I process it myself..I live in the hot state of Florida..It's an hour and a half drive from home..

I field dress mine..15 minutes..

drag to the nearest trail..30 minutes..
hide it in the woods..

run back to the truck and get the game cart..
20 minutes..

cart deer back to truck..put deer in the truck..
drive to check station ..15 minutes.

Now I have 2 choices...
A. Can 1/4 deer here and pick up ice 20 minutes down the road..

B. Drive deer 1 1/2 hours home..to take pictures etc..I chose option B..the deer was fine.
This was during the Dec. month in Fl..60s..

During archery..I will always do option A..1/4 the deer and get it on ice..I actually bring 3 gallon containers with frozen ice water
