Red Dot Scopes
I' m looking for recomendations on red dot scopes. Aim Point looks good, as well as Nikon, But I see Cabela' s just came out with one that' s alot like the Nikon, But $100 cheaper! Anyone out there that' s used them I would appreciate the input. I' m going to put it on a rifled shotgun. Thanks:)

RE: Red Dot Scopes
If I were to buy a new one, it would be the Aimpoint but if you don' t want to spend the money on the Aimpoint, check out the red dot by Burris. It looks like a nice scope for the money. I have a Tasco Pro Point and it has never failed me yet.

RE: Red Dot Scopes
If you could find out who makes the scopes for Cabela' s it would make the decision easier. One thing to remember is that Cabela' s would make the scope good if there was any problem with it.

RE: Red Dot Scopes
Cabela' s scopes are made by Pine Ridge. I got my brother one for his muzzle loader last year and it worked very well. It' s the only red dot scope I' ve ever fired so I have nothing to compare it with but I was happy with it. Variable brightness, 4 different recticals (dot, crosshairs, crosshairs with dot and open dot).
