I have a Big Game 2-man ladder stand,it has the bigger floor/platform,the long bench seat folds up out of the way and it keeps the rain and snow off of it,it also has the 2 padded back rest,it has a shooting rail that fold up out of the way also and its a good secure ladder stand that is made very well...and it has the double rail ladder going up so its made stronger and better in my opinion.

I helped a bud put up a "Big Game" brand 2-man ladder stand 2 seasons ago. It took a while to assemble and was a mother for us 2 to to get into position becasue of being top heavy (which was expected of course ) ... and us being, shall I put it kindly ... beyond our "prime". Once on the tree, we secured it with 2 better quality ratchet straps that he had purchased ... each rated 750#. My wife made a much better padded seat. We wrapped the shooting rail with tubes of waterpipe insulation for gun-rest padding, then hung cammo cloth around the shooting rail. It has held up great and is rock solid. Works great for adult/kid hunts. I think it is 12' to the foot-rest but not ceratain. Have no idea what it cost.

I have to ask. do you ever post anything that is helpful? Or do you just take popshots?

I mean, someone asks a technical question in archery, and same old crap, you tell em not to worry about it, just hit the target. On and on. Is it because your not intelligent enough to answer a question?

Mine is the last one...the Partner Plus 2-Man Ladder Stand, great stand that is made solid and You can buy a Blind-Kit with it also.Another well made 2-Man ladder stand is the one from Rivers Edge,a little lighter and cheaper in price but still well made and sturdy!

It did take 2 of us Guys to put my ladder stand...plenty heavy and fun to pack out to the woods...I think we put it in pieces on my lawn mower trail and hauled it out to the Deer Woods then we finished putting the stand together and stood it up.

Several things to check on any ladder stand is how well it is made, does it have the wide steps, does it have 1 set of hand rails or 2,how many braces on the back of it mounts to the tree (some have 1 others have 2 and are more sturdy/safer),is the platform samll or large,is the back open or does it have a safe secure back, does the seat or bench seat fold up out of the way if You happen to Bow Hunt out of it also, does it have a shooting rail and will it fold up out of the way also?

Oh yeah,if Your Ladder Stand has a Blind Kit it will help the Kids stay concealed if they figit a little too much or can't sit still and the Camo Blind will cover up some movement...! ;) My Daughter was 11 or 12 when she shot Her first Deer,I simply draped some Camo material on the left and right side of my ladder stand and She ate snacks and played on her hand-held video game to pass the time away until a Deer finally showed up....its best not to push the younger Kids to Hunt too long or give them something entertaining to do to pass the time away....some times a ground blind is even better for them to hunt out of so they can lay down or rest a little if they get wore out.

I have several of the Big Game stands and the partner pro is my go to stand, very comfortable for all day sits. I hunt it alone for the extra space but there is more than enough room for a second person. the platform is huge so if you get tired of sitting, there is plenty of room to stand up and stretch your legs.
