Default 192.5 canada

Let me say that the u.s. forums are a lot better than the canadian ones. back a few years ago I downed an Alberta whitetail... my raw score in 2005 was 192 &5/8 B&C after dry down 4 years later it was 189 5/8 Alberta score and will be int the next provincial record book. In in 2009 my buck scored 151 & 5/8. and I won Alberta regional Fish & game. in 2010 I took an Alberta Whitetail at 420 lasered metres but to my horror it was missing the left side . I estimated this deer at 155+ . I enjoy your forums and added a 2010 elk that I had to pass up because I only had a Cow tag. I called him Catch and release c&r....

Default Welcome to the List!

Great deer and nice photos, 192.5.

How is the winter up there--minimal winter kill?

Winter kill will be more of an issue up north - (north of Edmonton) I was up in the valleyview area a couple of weeks ago and they have 3 feet on the flat and I saw drifts of 7-8 feet. I am sure it will be tough going for the ones that can't access a hay stack.
