Hey, I was sitting here today trying to think of some athletes who are also outdoorsmen. There are a few names that I am trying to think of, but can't quite remember. List your favorite current or retired professional athlete who hunts here.

Josh Hamilton was a guest hunter on one of the Versus programs.

I think Craig Biggio hunts.

Larry Csonka hosts an Alaska based hunting/fishing show.

Chipper Jones, Adam LaRoche, Ryan Langerhans, and Matt Duff are hosts on Buck Commander.

Lance Berkman lists hunting as his hobby.

Nolan Ryan is a Platinum Life Member of the Texas Trophy Hunters Association.

Matt Hughes from UFC also hunts, from IL too!

Is this only for athletes or celebs in general? I know Kurt Russel and Tom Selleck both hunt too.

I only recognize two of the names, and just out of hand, I still don't know what they are associated with (except the actors). They must not do much hunting.

JD Drew of the Boston Red Sox is a hunter. Will Clark who played for the SF Giants is too.

Trent Cole of the Eagles hunts and hosts a show on the Pursuit Channel.

Steve MacIntyre of the Edmonton Oilers is a hunter. When Chris Simon, who used to play for Colorado and Washington got traded between the two teams he was holding out for a contract and they couldn't reach him to tell him he was traded because he was hunting.

Scott Stevens of the NJ Devils is a big hunter, when they retired his number one of the gifts from the team was a top of the line Hoyt. Jason Arnott of the Devils is a hunter too.
