I actually saw the one I was originally hunting while I was down there tonight but couldn't get a shot at him , he was too far away and the trees were blocking him. I'm not sure but he may be even bigger but I'll not know until he would be on the ground.
I did pass on a nice 8 pointer within 25 yards ... it seems like the bucks around here are settled down and moving again pretty good, maybe the secondary rut ??

I've had that happen a couple of times this year. Atleast you seen him though.

I rough scored him at 148 1/4 being very stingy with my measurements ... I'll get him officially scored after the mount comes back.

I passed on a heavy horned , not so wide but real tall 8 pointer tonight , 2 days ago I would have probably shot him
