The mast crop was very heavy this year. I'll admit that it's taken me a while to adjust for this. The spots at the edges of corn and bean fields that usually see lots of activity aren't this year. The deer here in central Missouri are staying more to the timber, so, I'm concentrating more on those areas.

Yep, I think both deer and turkeys should really benefit from it. I remember back in October avoiding certain trails because it was like walking on marbles.

the ODNR had arborists take a test on the oak trees.... last year 30% if the trees in delaware state park produced acorns.... this year 100% of the trees produced.
