Howdy Everyone.

First of all, let me begin by thanking the moderators, administrators and fellow members for having what appears to be such a great community. I stumbled upon this site while browsing the world wide web, and I'm glad I did! I hope to frequent these boards often.

My question is, has anyone been out in the woods this past week (since firearms season closed)? I was going to try to step out with my bow a few times this week, and was wondering if anyone has seen and "second rut" activity.

For fellow Kansans and the like, I'm sure you're aware that the weather pattern has been even more bizarre than usual this year. There's been talks of the dreaded "trickle rut" on some sites as well. Any thoughts on the matter would be great!
