Default big doe in the snow

Went out for last day of late muzzle loader this morning and scored this big doe. Got in my stand and sat on my frozen seat and stood up because how cold the dam seat was. After realizing the metal stand was entirely too loud to stand up in due to it having ice all over it I sat back down. As soon as I sat down I looked to my left and saw five does about 200 yards away walking towards me. Slowly they made there way to about sixty yards and the first four got by unharmed because they where too small. When the big girl stepped out I took her and boy shes a big one. Wasnt in the stand a half hour and she will complete my 2010 deer season because four is enough for me for one year. Cant wait till 2011!

actually the first deer I have shot in that much snow. Usually in ky we dont get that much snow that early so I made sure I got out in it.

that four wheeler is about two hundred yards down a steep ass hill that I had to go back up... put it in four wheel super low range and locked the fron diff and started barrelling over ****!

nice - great looking old doe.

I always look forward to snow - sometimes we get too much, 70" in December so far! This year was we had more than normal - It does concentrate the deer - and can make for some difficult late season hunts! I took a last weekend BP Doe as well this weekend - Congrats on a fine Season!
