Its a great deer but lets be real about it. There have been several bigger deer taken this year, and I mean several. Im talking about all States and Canada. Many deer in the 240's and bigger.

dc240nt, I was actually wanting to know about bigger bucks. Where, when ,who? That's the whole point of my post, please fill us in.
Whoever asked about gun or bow, it was modern rifle season, 1st animal shot with new rifle. Ryan is 19 and graduated last May with my daughter, so I have known him since pre-school. He figures it's the best he'll ever do. He was home from college for 2 days to hunt, but he knew the area where this deer lived and had trail cam pics.

Going thru the photo's that I've collected just from this past season, I see there are several deer over 240. Alberta 3, SK 3, MB 1, Ill 3, Iowa 2, TX 1, KS 2, Ohio 1, OK 1...these are just the ones that Ive seen pics of. And remember, many States the season is still open.

I saw a pic of a buck killed by a taxidermist in Exeter, MO. The caption said he should score #2 in Missouri and somewhere between #10 and #20 in the world. Green score 250, maybe? That's all I remember about it.

There was one shot just in my county (Marquette County) that was over 220's. I'll try to find Pics. He took 2nd or 3rd in a big buck contest thrown by Miller beer for
