Default First snow...wish I was still-hunting today!

There is no condition under which I would choose hunt over having fresh powder on the ground. Unless it's snowing way too hard and fast, nothing beats it, IMO.

Too bad I am sending this out under the glorious glare of fluorescent lighting.

Well, it wasn't our first snow today, but we got some more, and with the heavy north wind chill making it about 10 degrees out, it was pretty miserable. Was great all last week though since it was just below freezing and we had a foot of fluffy white on the ground.

Right with you on that. I live in Georgia so hunting in snow here is rare. However thats why I travel up to New York to enjoy a week in the snow hunting deer. The deer there are often too small for me to take as its overhunted just about everywhere. Yet every year I return just for the experiance.
