That a hard thing. I kinda like the dog bark thing never heard that before. I would probably try to stay put but if it got too late might think about the barking trick. hahaha

Trust me, it works without spooking the deer bad. If your wife or some friends saw you sitting in a tree at dark barking like a dog, they would pretty much think you have gone crazy. You have to admit though, it does sound kind of funny, but it works.

I'f I'm in a field with deer at dark. I'll usually radio or text my bud to drive as close to my stand as possible. Works good. I'm gonna try the bark too.
