Shed hunting
 

Ok guys i'm wondering about shed hunting and ya I know it isn't the right time of the year yet. What time of the year do you guys shed hunt? Do you walk around and look for them or do you set shed traps? If you do use a shed trap how do you make it and set it up? I'm just really curious about about shed hunting and I'd like to get into it so any help would be nice.

It depends on how harsh your winter is but i would say the first week of March is a safe bet. As for the traps if its legal where you live I have seen where guys put a almost a tight V shape fence thing and place corn in there in hopes of a buck hitting his rack on the way down. I have also heard of guys using an old box springs in the same way.
