I think good old cheap corn is better than everything, once they find it they dont care what it tastes like...atleast thats what the trail cams show

I do use rice-bran and its like crack.. the deer love it down here.

I think apple salt would work in florida but they seem to stop using salt here in illinois during the winter but in the summer and spring they are on it like crazy,I have a spot with a 3 foot deep hole where they have pawed and ate the dirt.
