South Dakota Rifle Buck!

I'd been watching this guy for about the last 2 weeks. Saturday I found him in my spotting scope about a half mile away bedded down with a doe in a dugout. After about an hour stalk, I got to about 200 yards of him, he was still laying down but had me pinned and was about to bust. I took the shot, hit him low in the chest and came thu got the leg. Tipped him over right where he was laying! I'm not sure what he'll score but he's super heavy! He had small drop tine on both sides that were busted off. Not a monster but he'll sure look good on my wall!

Beautiful!!! That is what it is all about!! A wonderful example of a north american whitetail, and a good reason to live in the great state of S.D. Did you get a change to get him on a scale? gotta be 200# or maybe better. Doc
