I just started shooting bear bows and like them I don't know much about the browning bows but had one when I was a kid and it shot really nice I personally think if you shoot the bow and like the way it shoots and the bow fits u go for it

I shoot the Browning Verado, 2009 model. I absolutely swear by it, I've shot Mathews, Martin, Bear, and a host of other brands, but this ones the one that fit me the best (but I won't knock the other brands, they just weren't for me.) It is a smooth shooting bow, and I shoot a very heavy set-up for whitetail, compared to the rest of my buddies, I could take down a hog with the same setup I use for deer; and I maintain a very good IBO speed (Not that it matters). Overall, IMHO it is a great bow for the price.

I had an archery shop back in the 80's and I never found a Bear bow that came from the factory tuned correctly. Since then I have stayed away from that brand. The bows that are at the top are PSE, Mathews, Horton, Martin, and Parker to name a few. It is a little like the difference between a chev and a ford.
