Default Wind power ( turbines ) effect on deer ??

Unfortionatly this past year there has been up to 27 big wind power turbines set up all along a roughly 10 to 12 mile ridge where I hunt in the Southern Tier .
Luckly only one has been set up directly on the land I hunt but will be very close to where I place my tree stand .
Anyone hunt near these towers and know the effects on the deer movements ?
I hear they make a whining noise and realize they will make some wind .
Any idea how bad it will effect my hunting ?
Basicaly there set up along a ridge line . Havent seen then first hand but In my local area we have them and its like being on another world .. There huge , I just havent been that close to one to hear how much noise they actualy make ..
Any ideas or first hand experiance would be great .
This is a place we hunt every year but we only hunt opening day and abought 3 days or so ...

No experience with wind turbines, but, I would think the deer would get used to them. They get used to Oil well pumping stations they make noise, so I would think they would be the same. Just my opinion.

They should not mess with the patterns of any of the animals. One of the ranches that I get to hunt on down here in Texas is covered with turbines and it seems like every year there are a lot of deer and varmints shot off of that ranch so I would not worry about it. But here is a plus side you should now have some really nice roads to run around the property on I know the roads they put in on the ranch I hunt are very nice caliche roads making it much easier to traverse the ranch. Hope this helps.

I live 2 miles from Elk River wind farm 100 turbines that have been operating since 2005. I have been hunting this area for 23 years and I can tell you from experience the the wind turbines do not bother the deer. They did not change their patterns and they even graze at the bottom of the towers. So don't worry about the wind turbines cause the deer don't!
Live it up! Doug

Thanks , Sounds like they wont be a problem .
We only go downState hunting once a year for around 4 or 5 days but its a 7 hr trip , with gas , meals and motel $$$ just had me wondering if we were going to be wasting our efforts . Thanks
