I cut out my dad's face, and faces of our friends. If it were my face I'd leave it. I black out family/friends faces after seeing an ar15.com member's hunting pic show up on a peta forum.

Claydee, I blacked out my face for the reason above and also in case someone would recognize me and decide to tromp in where I hunt even though it's private ground. The same with the license plate on my truck. It took me 27 years to shoot a deer like the one I got this year and now a few people think I've got some hotspot. The deer got a little more attention than I really wanted.

Congrats on the deer what county/area are you in? The public ground here gets hit hard by people coming from Madison area. If you don't want to post it send me a PM.

We killed those deer in NE Wisconsin, Nicolet Chequamegon National forest. This was my 32nd year hunting there. We've never killed anything even close to my Niece's buck before this year. It's normally the land of trophy spikes and basket racks. If you don't shoot that spike the guy over the next hill will!!!! The biggest buck I killed up there before this one was a 113 in 8 point.
But what do you do?? That's where my dad was from and all my family is up there.
