Default Late Season VA buck
Took this eight pointer on 12/20/12 in Virginia. Came out of a thicket at 12:15 to feed in some red oaks. Took him with with a Knight muzzleloader.

Atothec....NO YOU DIDN'T !....lol. Haha. I feel your pain, bro. I don't have a truck either and have a small car, so deer season is usually interesting if I hunt alone. Good job on the doe, though. What I like about rental vehicles is that you can return the vehicle with the blood stains (along with mud ) and not have to worry about it...as long as you return something that still runs and purchased insurance. I bet your friend's reaction was classic.
